Cookie policy
Last updated 1 October 2026. This page lists every cookie and every piece of browser storage kettleboils.com uses, why, and for how long.
In short
Kettle sets one cookie of its own, the sign-in cookie, and only after you sign in. Everything optional (outside analytics, error reports and, later, ads) waits until you say yes in the cookie banner. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and reading the site works the same either way.
Your choices
You can change your choice at any time. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, we treat it as "Reject non-essential" until you choose otherwise.
Categories
- Strictly necessary. Always on, because the site cannot work without them: the sign-in cookie, remembering your choice, and the bot checks on sign-in forms.
- Analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies. Kettle's own daily totals are anonymous and store nothing on your device, so they run unless you switch Analytics off or your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.
- Error monitoring. Sentry, which tells us when a script on the page breaks.
- Advertising. Google AdSense, once ads run on Kettle. Off until you allow it. We pass your choice to Google through its Consent Mode.
